“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
– 2 Peter 3:18 (CSB)
Sunday Services are great! The choir sings, the minister preaches, the St. John family and guests greet each other… it’s a wonderful time! However, if your experience of God is limited to the Sunday service, you may find yourself with some questions:
- What if you need a further explanation of something you heard?
- What if you wanted to share your thoughts?
- What if your concerns weren’t addressed by this week’s sermon, last week’s sermon, or any sermon?
- What if you have doubts?
- What if you’ve never really read the Bible, but you want to learn how?
St. John addresses these questions in a couple of different ways:
Sunday School
Don’t worry, there are no pop quizzes or final exams! Sunday School is one of the primary ways St. John helps you to dive deeper into the Bible. The classes are small and intimate, which means you can have a safe, loving environment to grow in Christ and learn more about Him!
Classes are offered for all ages 2+ from 9:30am to 10:30am every Sunday morning. Bring yourself and whoever you’d like. Oh, and you don’t even need to be a member – or a Christian – to join!
We now offer the opportunity to join by phone or computer! Click here for more details!
Prayer and Bible Study
Similar to Sunday School, Prayer and Bible Study is another opportunity to learn about God with the St. John family. It is an intimate, informal setting where you can pray and dive deep into the Word with fellow learners. Prayer and Bible Study is offered from 6:30pm to 8pm every Wednesday evening. See you there!
